Construct & Criterion Validity
Published research has examined relationships between GQ-6 scores and constructs including optimism, life satisfaction, hope, spirituality/religiousness, forgiveness, empathy, prosocial behaviour, depression, anxiety, materialism, and envy. The GQ-6 is a measure of dispositional gratitude and is not a diagnostic instrument.
