Assessments
Are PsiQ assessments clinically validated?+
It depends on the specific assessment — each one carries its own evidence-status label (Standardized, Validated, Research Instrument, or Educational). See our Methodology page for exactly what each label means.
Can the timer or my answers be tampered with?+
No. Scoring, answer keys, and expiry are all checked server-side. The on-page timer is cosmetic; a tampered question ID or a manipulated client-side timer is rejected by the server, not trusted.
What does "Assigned by an institute/psychologist" mean for pricing?+
An institutional or psychologist assignment is a genuine alternative access grant — if you were assigned an assessment, you don't pay for it separately even if it's normally a paid one.
Privacy & Data
Who can see my results?+
Only you, a super admin (for platform operation), your institute's admin if you're their student, or a psychologist you're actually connected to. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Can I delete my account?+
Yes, any time, from your account's Privacy settings — see our Data Deletion page for exactly what happens when you do.
Do you use tracking or advertising cookies?+

Accounts & Roles
What's the difference between the account types?+
Individuals take assessments for themselves. Psychologists manage clients professionally. Institutes run assessments at scale for students/staff. Researchers run studies with participant groups. See For Individuals, For Psychologists, For Institutes, and For Researchers.
Can I change my account's role later?+
No — role is set at account creation and never changes based on user input, which is a deliberate security boundary, not an oversight.
What if I was added by an institute but want to buy something myself?+
You can still make individual purchases; your own orders and invoices are visible under your account's Billing page regardless of how your account was created.
