Free Online Mental Health Test

A quick way to check in on how you have been feeling. Start with a broad mental-health scale, then follow up with a more specific one for anxiety, depression, stress or wellbeing.

What these tests measure

The Mental Health Inventory (5 and 38 item versions) gives a broad picture of psychological distress and wellbeing. The DASS-21 covers depression, anxiety and stress, while the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 focus on depression and anxiety. The Warwick-Edinburgh scale measures positive mental wellbeing.

None of these can replace a professional assessment, but they can help you notice patterns and decide whether to seek support.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants a general check-in on their mental health.

How to use your result

Your score is a snapshot of how you have been feeling or behaving recently. It is meant for self-reflection, education and research and is not a diagnosis or medical advice. Where a scale has no published norm entered on PsiQ, we do not invent one, so you will see raw scores rather than made-up percentiles.

If you are struggling: please talk to a doctor or a qualified mental-health professional. In India you can call Tele-MANAS at 14416, a free government mental-health helpline. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
